CBMs are installed by interacting with autodoc or non-player character with high medical skills. Installation has a low chance of genetic damage, blood loss, or damage to existing bionics based on intelligence, electronics, first aid, mechanics, and the MD profession.
This is a passive CBM, can generate bionic power (each type according to its description), and can be viewed on the bionics menu (p). More details on bionics' JSON flags can be found here. Some bionics can also be disassembled (() to obtain burnt out bionics if you have a soldering iron (20) OR Integrated Toolset (20), 1 tool with screw driving quality of 1, and the electronics (7) and first aid (5) skill required.

- This bionic is a source of power. The actual type of power source depends on the item. Could be chemical, kinetic, atomics, or anything else.
- This bionic can be used by NPCs.
- A bionic which generates power when you consume (E) alcohol, 2-8 power per shot consumed.
- In 0.C (Cooper), this bionic worked well with the Blood Filter bionic, allowing you to consume vast amounts of alcohol to fill large battery stocks, and then run a single blood filter to go from "Wasted" to clean. May still get addicted, but having full bottle of booze can supply 37-157 power (including Blood Filter cost of 3 power, using the old power values, for 0.D (Danny) values, multiply by 25)) and might just save your life. Be wary of consuming massive amounts of alcohol in a single sitting, however, as even with the blood filter bionic consuming alcohol will lower your unseen Health stat, causing diseases and even sudden death if it drops too low. The power values have since been changed, and this bionic might work less effectively.
