Alcohol (disease)
Alcohol is a status effect caused by drinking alcoholic beverages. The duration of the effect per shot depends on the character's strength (680 - 10*[str_max]). The Lightweight trait adds additional 300 turns to the duration. In addition, alcohol increases the painkiller counter by 8 per shot.
This status effect is displayed as Tipsy, Drunk (duration longer than 800 turns), Trashed (>1400) or Wasted (>2200).
While duration is 600 or lower, this effect increases strength by 1. Every 700 points of duration decreases intellect by 1. Every 1000 points decrease dexterity and perception by 1. Every 1500 points decrease strength by 1. If duration is longer than 2200 turns there is 5% chance to vomit each turn (with the trait Weak Stomach or Nausea, the chance is almost 100%). If the duration is equal to 4500 turns or longer there is an increasing chance to fall asleep for a half of remaining duration.
Alcohol can be detected by Blood Analysis and completely removed by Blood Filter bionics.
