Corroding is a status effect applied when you are covered in acid or other corrosive substance.
"You're covered in acid!"
- Corroding effect can be applied by a monster attack (acid barf) or by an acid field.
- Corroding effect has a chance to apply damage to affected body part, as long you are affected by it.
- Chance is dependent on effect intensity (max intensity is 5), and minimum chance is 10% and maximum chance is 50%.
- Maximum duration factor is 30 seconds, and intensity level is set upon duration (one level per each 5 seconds of duration).
- Environmental protection from acid gives you a chance to resist application of this effect.
- Acidproof, Slimy and Viscous mutations prevent application of the effect.
