Trees are located in abundance in forests, and also occasionally near houses. They can be chopped down ( * -> i ), so long as you have a tool with tree cutting 2 or more, such as a wood axe. In 0.D (Danny) they can be chopped down by activating a tool with wood cutting.
Cutting down a tree creates tree trunks, which can be further refined by either chopping the tree trunk into logs ( * -> p ), or if you have construction skill of at least 2, into planks ( * -> r).
